How I spent my New Year’s Eve.
Before that, I will have to let you know how I am spending my New Year’s day. This office looks so very bold and beautiful when I am high. And I am exactly …and I mean exactly as high as I could get. There is this red glass window-let. And the editor inside the cabin is wearing this orange tee, with a yellow cup. Psychedelia, here I come.
Anyway, So yesterday, I got off three hours early from work, went to a shady beach, made friends with a dog. oh and drank “gulps full of old monk”. Me and Rai who then went to a mighty kabab sleaze fest kabab place twice in a span of three hours.
Anyway. So I had a great time, but then I had to come back home and I realized I had left my office laptop at a friend’s place and would have to get up early to pick it up in order to reach in time. I didn’t. Because I couldn’t wake up on time. Anyway, so I was already running late, and I went to collect my laptop and these people fed me wine flavored cake and you know what all. So here I am.
errhem. so i am here.
Seven in the evening. down and out. did NO work today, absolutely NO work. apart from filling up like three ms excel sheet cells.
This is the thing about working in an office as opposed to working for a production house. While I was scampering around, running for almost 24 km per day, at a stretch for 25 days a month. My complexion had obviously nothing to do with what I imagined I looked like. Because I looked like shit, and I imagined that I look like some kind of a Gothic princess with black tees and dirrrrty jeans and yellow nail polish.
I’d decided this one was going to be my “grown up” version of the previous blog, which saw a lot of footfall in its heydays, but I don’t think I will manage that, if I go on posting about nail polish. Which, I eventually will. There’s no correcting me.
List of things I did today to make myself look very busy.
1. watched Ivy league on youtube.
2. stared at excel sheets.
3. drank coffee.
4. Stared at excel sheets while cleverly listening to gaanja celebrating tracks, like Bum bhole nath Bum bhole Nath…etc
Now that.
Its eight in the evening now, and I feel like heading home to smoke a joint and stare into the darkness outside my window.
There might not be darkness, though. Because outside my window, there are vanity vans for a TV serial shoot. There are multi20 lights too. And people. who talk a lot loudly. Now the fun began when I realized sleepy-eyed at two in the morning yesterday, that they are not “talking loudly”…its a take going on…they are delivering dialogues…and that, you are supposed to do loudly. So. well…thats about it. Later.
